The most important for real estate investors and real estate agents is recognizing when a possible warm lead is calling, and many are using Google Voice as their business number. It is free and easy to set up.
When changing the ringtone to a unique tone for incoming calls from your Google Voice number, you get an instant alert it is an incoming lead calling you.
5 Simple Steps To Change Ringtone Of Your Google Voice Number On iPhone
Step #1.The first step is to change the settings in Google Voice so that for Caller ID (incoming) you choose; “Display my Google Voice number”. For this you have to go to Google Voice on your lap top/computer – not the app on your iPhone. Click on Legacy Google Voice (see screenshot below).
Step #2. Go to tab “Calls” (see screenshot below).
Step #3. Mark option “Display my Google Voice number (see screenshot below).
Step #4. Add your Google Voice number as a regular contact to your iPhone.
Step #5. While editing the contact, you can choose the preferred ringtone (different from the default ringtone).
As easy as that!
The only catch to this is that your caller ID will no longer display the caller, but will display your Google Voice number instead. However, you can rely on Google Voice Call Screening to find out who it is before you decide to talk to them.
I hope this short manual was helpful. An easy way of separating private incoming calls from business calls.
Now, let’s convert those leads to actual deals! Best of luck to you all!
